Tools Developed

• WSD (Word Sense Disambiguation Tool)
  • Description: word sense disambiguation is a challenge and it is necessary for many applications. Normally, a concept has single sense in a specific context. The wsd tool takes a bag of words as input, and return a ontology created from these words with their specific word sense. Is that amazing?
  • Status: Done and being improved.

• Service Query Engine
  • Description: it is a service query tool in WSMO. It takes ther logical expressions of queries about service type, domain, preconditions or else, and retrun the matached semantic services from service repositories. The reasoner currently is IRIS v0.57.
  • Status: Done and being improved.
  • Demo: project related tool, PAServiceQuery.swf;

• WSAO (Semantic Web Services Application Ontology Bulider)
  • Description: It is a set of tool, called wsao studio. It has a wsd sub-tool, a service ontology mereing sub-tool, an application buliding sub-tool and an Ontology visulization sub-tool.
  • Status: version 1.0 and version 2.0.
  • Demo:

• Services Index Crawler
  • Description: This tool is designed as a web crawler exactly for Semantic Web Services. It automatiocally crawls on the Web 2.0~3.0 to search/annotate/index web services (including service non-functional info, service functions info), and save the retrived web services snapshots.
  • Status: Being developed.

Talks or Teaching

• Talk about "Semantic Web, Social Multimedia" at the workshop on "Self-organization and Adaptation in Distributed Systems" at Mallorca, Spain, 25/10-29/10 2009.

• Talks for SEMINAR SERIES ON SEMANTIC WEB ONTOLOGY AND SEMANTIC WEB SERVICES in Thailand, 31/07- 15/08 2009.

Source Code

WSAO version1.0 has been developed in Eclipse environment.

This tool is under testing. It will be formally published in the future.

DataSet

A formal testbed is undergoing, which needs a lot of work.

Currently, we have:

• A big collection of semantic web services dataSet;
• A small dataset used by our WSAO prototype;
• An experimental zipService related dataset;
